Event overview:
We live in a fortunate world where many organisations dedicate their time to help up and coming entrepreneurs set up their businesses and scale to success. AICRA (All India Council for Robotics and Automation) is one such organisation with a mission to make Indian tech entrepreneurs take the lead in the field of automation and robotics globally.
With this mission in mind, the AICRA organised the IndiaFirst Tech Start-up convention 2022 in Bangalore during the second week of June. We were proud to do our part in pushing for the success of entrepreneurs through this event by participating and being the silver sponsor and marketing partner.

The event was a great success with over 5000 visitors, over 500 tech start-up exhibitors, and over 1000 investors.
Highlights:
⦾ There were over 40 informative keynotes and panel sessions, and we are proud to say that our CEO and founder, Vinodh Ramakannan shared his expertise with the crowd during these sessions too!
⦾ Alongside passionate entrepreneurs, we were able to meet venture capitalists and government representatives as well. It was a special honour to meet Rajkumar Sharma, President of AICRA, Dr Ashwath Narayan CN, Minister of Education and IT, Government of Karnataka, and Shri S Somanath, Chairman of ISRO.
⦾ 30 innovative businesses were recognised for their feat in their industries through awards.
⦾ Team Spinta bagged two awards: Best Start-ups' Supporter Award & Best Digital Marketing Start-up.
Takeaways:
Listening to the words of successful business people was truly mesmerising. To add to that, listening to top government officials talk about the State's vision for tech start-ups gave us a broad positive idea of the future of such start-ups in our country. Networking with brilliant minds in the tech industries and celebrating the success of the field together were just added bonuses of the event!
